Dispute Resolution
HBS handles complex commercial dispute resolution scenarios and is able to provide legal and strategic advice through all stages of the process. We also provide advice and legal representation in the civil and criminal courts, relating to a wide variety of disputes, and have represented clients in both domestic and international arbitration, as well as other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Mr. Ly is an experienced business lawyer with demonstrated focus and expertise in the areas of Corporate, Banking, Securities, Trusts, Mergers and Acquisitions, Mining and Energy, Real Estate, Tax, Insolvency, Arbitration and Commercial Litigation.
Mr. Tan has more than 10 years of experience in the real estate sector of Cambodia and has been advising and assisting in closing many major real estate transactions throughout the country.
Ms. SOPHORN is an Attorney-at-Law and Head of Intellectual Property Rights Practice Group. Her practice covers drafting and advising on IP related contracts such as Licensing and Franchising. She also assists in IP filing, due diligence, raid action and enforcement.
Ms. NENH has joined HBS LAW since 2008, and she has been practicing in Company Secretary, Administrator, Litigation, Taxation and Practice Groups.
Mr. TOP is a member of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He has graduated Bachelor of Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics in 2012, and also graduated from Paññasastra University of Cambodia in 2014, majoring in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
Ms. Kang is a member of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. She has been working for HBS since 2015. She is currently a member of Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Construction, Family & Real Estate Litigation Group.
Sotheara is a member of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Law (LL. B) from University of Cambodia (UC) in 2011 and a Master Degree of Comparative Laws (M.C.L/LL.M.) from the Faculty of Law, University Delhi (DU), Republic of India.
Vanarith is an Attorney-At-Law and the Head of the Labor and Industrial Relations Practice Group at HBS LAW FIRM. Prior to joining HBS LAW FIRM, he worked at various national and international associations, INGOs and law firms.
In late 2015 and early 2016, Mr. Sun interned at Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. In 2017, he began working for HBS LAW. In 2019, he left the firm to study his Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Sweden's Lund University.
Seang Meng is an Attorney-at-Law, admitted to the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He holds a diverse range of qualifications and licenses, including being a licensed trademark agent, a licensed customs broker and a qualified professional in the securities and trust sector.
Ms. SANG is a lawyer member of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Ms. SANG graduated Bachelor’s Degree from Build Bright University since 2017, majoring in Law.
Ms. Hieng started her employment at HBS LAW in 2015, supporting the firm with regards to an extensive range of matters. She is a member of the General Corporate and Investment, Banking and Finance, and Dispute Resolution and Litigation Practice Groups.
