Mr. Pheng Sopheap is an associate at HBS Law. He works in the Construction & Real Estate Development Practice Group.
Mr. Sopheap has worked for both a law firm and for a Japanese developer and has gained extensive experience and knowledge in real estate and construction, corporate & commercial as well as intellectual property, labor and employment, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
In addition, Mr. Sopheap has worked on numerous projects including, but not limited to, a Condominium, Borey, Flat and Land Lot projects and has acquired in-depth knowledge and experience in (i) real estate and construction from conducting due diligence and ownership transfers, to applying for permits and licensees as well as customer consultations and (ii).company operations concerning share transfers, capital increases, change of office address, and change of director details. In this connection, he has acquired a deep understanding of the Japanese way of working and business mind-set.
Mr. Sopheap is pursuing his Master of Laws in International Human Rights Law (English Based, International Program) at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia for which he was awarded a full scholarship from Raoul Wallenberg Institute and anticipates to graduate in late 2022. In 2018, he obtained a bachelor of laws (English Based, International Program) from the same University.
